While the Cowboys have yet to officially name all of the new additions to the staff, Friday’s announcement of WR coach Jimmy Robinson is likely the final piece to this puzzle.

Not sure exactly why the Cowboys decided to announce Robinson on Friday, and not strength coach Mike Woicik, who has reportedly taken the job. He’s been in the building working for the last few days. It’s also likely that Ben Bloom will be named a defensive assistant. He’s been here working for a few days and has yet to be announced.

It’s expected the entire staff will be announced on Monday. When there was a big staff overhaul in 2007, the Cowboys organized a media session in the locker room with all of the assistants. That will probably take place again next week, involving the new hires, such as Robinson, Woicik, Bloom, Brian Baker and of course, defensive coordinator Rob Ryan.

But the whole staff should be in there as well. Guys like John Garrett, Wes Phillips and possibly Hudson Houck could have new titles from last year. And there hasn’t been an assistant head coach title either. Wonder if that tag gets used this year.

In all, there are some announcements to be made. But the decisions appear to be complete.

Am I the only one surprised Wes Phillips is still here?

Yeah and no.

He no doubt still had a contract in place with the Cowboys. Plus maybe there wasn't a place for him on Houston's staff. And who's knows about his knowledge, work ethic and ability to work with the other coaches. Could be the guy is just a good fit (still).

We still have Campo, it's not complete.

The three surprises are Campo, Houck, and Phillips.

You would think Wes would of wanted to leave with Wade, but Wes is on the offense side of the ball.

The Texans might not of wanted him.

I'm really hoping it's not complete yet.

They need to find an OL coach to start phasing out Houck.

And please flush Campo. We don't need that reminder of failure around if we truly want to turn a page into a new regime.

Didn't they hire Wickline as the assistant Oline coach? I think they are going to get rid of Campo---at elast I hope. They reached out to Horton.

I don't think we hired Wickline, just interviewed him.

They only interviewed Wickline. Nothing been reported that he's been hired.

Houck is not that much of a surprise to me, I did think he'd possibly retire, but I also know that Garrett thinks a ton of him.

I think its obvious Campo might only be staying because of obvious upgrade may not be coming aboard/be available.

Garrett has also always spoke highly of Wes Phillips.
