Clinton Portis doesn't expect to play
Associated Press

ASHBURN, Va. -- Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis doesn't think his injured groin will allow him to play in this week's game against the Green Bay Packers.

Portis told 107.7 The Fan on Tuesday that he's still awaiting the results of an MRI on his left groin, which he injured in Sunday's 17-12 win over Philadelphia.

Portis said he doesn't think the team will let him attempt to play against the Packers. He said he's going to take his time and make sure he's healed.

Portis has only 195 yards on 49 carries for the Redskins this season.

Ryan Torain, recently promoted from the practice squad, split time with Portis and ran 18 times for 70 yards and a touchdown against the Eagles.

That's why I picked up Torain in fantasy football, plus he's seeing more carries than Portis.

I'm looking at Torain as well but first I need a QB. I missed the live draft and was stuck with Favre so I picked up Vick and now I'm going for Sanchez. I was hoping Minnesota would get Vincent Jackson :(

Is Bradford available, Cythim?

Or Kyle Orton?

Bradford is out there and might be a good stop gap this week but I don't trust him long term. I'll get him this week instead of Sanchez but I might need to put together a trade for Orton (his owner is stacked at QB and RB but needs WR).

Orton would be a nice pick up , he's playing well so far this season.
