Channing Crowder - LB - Dolphins
Appearing on Super Bowl's Radio Row Wednesday, free agent ILB Channing Crowder said he plans to make a comeback after sitting out all of 2011.

Several teams, including the Patriots, showed interest in Crowder after his release by the Dolphins last July, but he sat out the season to let his body heal. The 28-year-old won't be re-signing with Miami, though. "I wouldn’t go on a team with (Dolphins GM) Jeff Ireland," he said. "I’m not very confident in him. He doesn’t know what he’s doing in my opinion. ... He's not a good person. He has no class and I wouldn't choose to go back there."

I think we should give him a look. If he's healthy, he'd be a good insurance policy or rotation player.

he has been publically trashing him since the summer.

you dont need any other evidence that he is not a top shelf guy than no established coach wants to go there, even if they are overpaid.

and its interesting to me that brian gaine who is underneath him in miami got a gm interview in st.louis.

Well Jerry doesn't know what he's doing either. I guess he won't come here.

this is true, but he doesnt interfere in players personal lives and he basically doesnt judge these guys. he is there buddy which is his problem and this organizations.

Players will never not come here. the namdi thing was a one time deal because he percieved philly as a super bowl team.

ireland has proven to be a guy who without qualification seems to like to choke situations and people.

I'd rather add Osi to our defense.

yeah I dont think anyone has said to add crowder.

I am pretty sure everyone one of us would love osi or mario williams.

I would be ecstatic with either.

Yeah. Williams too.

I have a feeling though both resign with their current teams.

Osi is not a free agent.

Crowder is an absolute knucklehead. That being said, I would sign him to a cap-friendly, incentive packed deal yesterday. He is the kind of player our defense needs and I think he would do well under Rob Ryan.

We'll you're right technically he isn't but he wants out of the last year of his contract.

He wants an extension and the Giants aren't willing to do that. Seeing how well JPP played in his absence I doubt he gets what he wants.

Crowder is a bum. He accentuates his inability to play linebacker with his inability to keep his mouth shut. He's like Brandon Jacobs except with no talent at all.

That'd be interesting being that he challenged Rex to a fight.
