Since right now there is no news, Im going to post on something i dont get. Thats the rules NCAA has on player athletes. I understand maybe they had the right intensions. But now they just overblow anything and everything.

The NCAA makes billions on these kids who play sports. But they cant receive simple meals from anybody. They say its too keep the game honest so colleges wont have an advantage. And they want to keep morals as a guide blah blah.

OK thats all fine to say but really?

Now think about it. They spew all this nonsense but take the chance of a national title away before the season even starts. They basically set it up so maybe 8 teams have a realistic chance at playing for the natonal title. Why not wait a month before a poll is brought out. Or even a couple weeks after the season starts. They decide who will be national title winners. Not the players or the game. Sure the title game intself. BUt atleast 8 times out of 10 the two best teams havent even been playing for the title. If they want to keep it level why not use the the rankings to provide u with a 16 team tournament and let them play it out. Why because of the money.

Now the NCAA talks about morality and what not. BUt they pimp out these kids to sponsors for the NCAA that will give them the biggest payday for a bowl game. Where is the morals there?

These kids bring in more revenue to their respective schools 10 times over for what education costs. And thats probably per yr.

Thats my rant, just bugs me the NCAA tries to play god, without the morality part.

I don't agree. I think they have to take a hardline stance on it. Otherwise they'll always be tested on where that line is drawn.

The players get an education. And the experience of playing college ball. If they truly are so good that they are earning their school big dollars, and I mean dollars they maybe wouldn't make if that player wasn't enrolled there, then that player certainly will be good enough to have a pro career. Where he'll make more money than he has a right to.
