Bryant Warned About Titans Defenders

While the Cowboys get criticized for their own penalties, Sunday’s opponent is actually the NFL’s most penalized team. The Titans lead the NFL by far in penalty yards, and many of them are over-aggressive personal foul penalties from their defensive backs.

Rookie receiver Dez Bryant said he’s already been warned to watch out for players such as Tennessee’s Cortland Finnegan, who is considered one of the more aggressive, if not borderline-dirty, players.

“Coach (Ray) Sherman and Coach (Jason) Garrett explained to us that some of their players want to keep going,” Bryant said Thursday. “They wanted to make sure that after the play, just get back to the huddle and don’t do anything crazy.”

And as a rookie, Bryant said he’s always expecting somewhat of a welcoming hit from opposing players.

“I’m guessing one of these linebackers or safeties is waiting to get this big hit on me,” Bryant said with a smile. “But that’s fine. I’ll be ready for it.”
