Chet (San Marcos)
Is Dez playing tonight? If he does, does he have the outing Miles had last week?
Bryan Broaddus (12:01 PM)
Good Morning guys...hope all is well..Dez and Romo are both goes tonight. Bryant was able to practice on Saturday and it was on Friday that he was first able to put weight on the injury. If he has a game like Austin had last week, there is a great chance the Cowboys win.
-------------
Jeff (San Antonio)
Heard you mention on Ben and Skin that a big issue tonight will be Alan Ball in the slot. Is there a chance the Cowboys do something they've done in the past and move Newman to the slot and let Ball play outside? Or even just have Newman shadow Moss everywhere he goes? It's worked in the past.
Bryan Broaddus (12:04 PM)
Thanks for listening to Ben and Skin. I was told that Newman will play outside just because they dont want him to have to carry Moss from the slot with all the moving around. Ball will draw that assignment tonght.
-------------
Shawn Jacob (Carrollton,TX)
Bryan, love your work and analysis of the Cowboys. Do you believe Jason Garrett will use more three tight-end formations to max protect Tony Romo?
Bryan Broaddus (12:05 PM)
No doubt, 3 tight end packages to help in the passing game but also in protection. Same game plan as in 49ers game. Dont see Redskins allowing Witten to beat them tonight but it is Witten and he finds ways to get open.
-------------
Jeff (San Antonio)
Dallas has done a decent job limiting the good receiving TEs they've faced this season in Keller and V. Davis. Think they can limit this year's breakout player through two weeks in Fred Davis?
Bryan Broaddus (12:07 PM)
The Redskins have two really good tight ends in Cooley and Davis. Davis on tape has looked outstanding. He can get down the field and make plays. Very difficult job trying to handle both of these guys.
-------------
Felix Jones (In the training room)
Will I start tonight?
Bryan Broaddus (12:08 PM)
You will be starting tonight and best of luck, hopefully your line will be able to secure the down guys but get blockers up on the 2nd level to help you run the ball. Use your vision tonight to make some plays against a front that likes to slant one way or another.
-------------
Rob Ryan (In the can)
Has by run D really been that good the last two weeks or were the Jets and 49ers that bad in the running game (two typically run oriented teams)?
Bryan Broaddus (12:10 PM)
Good morning Coach... Jets didnt try and run the ball like they should have. 49ers just couldnt do it. Redskins will try to run and Hightower and Helu are decent backs. Front seven needs to be up to the task tonight.
-------------
Maxx Lazos (San Angelo, TX)
Im up 21 points in my fantasy mathchup. I can either play F.Jones, D. Murray, or T. Choice with my last spot. My opponent still has J. Witten & D. Bryant left to play. Who gives me the best chance to add a little more cushion to my lead??????? Jones/Choice/Murray????
Bryan Broaddus (12:11 PM)
Sorry but I dont do fantasy questions...best of luck tonight with your team.
-------------
Should be working (my office)
Who will start Nagy or Dockery?
Bryan Broaddus (12:11 PM)
Nagy will be the starter at left guard tonight.
-------------
Derrik (Dallas)
If Bailey looks good on kickoffs do you think we will finally get rid of this crazy 2 kickers ordeal?
Bryan Broaddus (12:13 PM)
I believe that Jerry will continue to try and make this 2 kicker situation work but Buehler is nicked up right now so if he cant go, and Bailey has success, that could change Jerry's mind.
-------------
Mike (@ Work)
Good Morning Bryan, How crutial is tonights divisional game? With the Gmen 2-1, is this a must win to keep up with the rest of the East?Thx
Bryan Broaddus (12:15 PM)
All the games are important. When I worked in the NFL, all the games were must win..cant afford to fall behind anyone.
-------------
Vinnie Vinci (Laurence Harbor, New Jersey)
Hi Bryan,What grades would you give the offensive line after 2 games? Thanks
Bryan Broaddus (12:16 PM)
Free was awful last week as was Kosier but played better against the Jets. Costa had his struggles in both games and Nagy lacked power in the first game. Tyron Smith has gotten better each game.
-------------
YumaCactus (AZ)
Are they really trying to make a WR out of AOA?
Bryan Broaddus (12:17 PM)
AOA was a body to help practice because of all the lack of healthy players.
-------------
Hostile, (Tucson, AZ)
Flat out props on your articles and stuff, amigo. Have you read my Primers? And could you get me an invite to the combine?
Bryan Broaddus (12:17 PM)

-------------
Brandon (MD)
If Dallas wins tonight, do you think they are the team to beat in the East?
Bryan Broaddus (12:18 PM)
I really do believe that the East is wide open.
-------------
Daniel (Mexico)
Hello Bryan! One f your key matches is Alan Ball on the nickle, Do you really think he can do that job against Moss?
Bryan Broaddus (12:20 PM)
How Rob Ryan plays on 3rd down will be key in this game. Ball was poor in the first half of the 49ers game, Moss is a weapon in the slot. Ball needs to be up to the task if they are going to get off the field on 3rd down.
-------------
Lex (Calgary, AB)
Simple. Cowboys win tonight and what is the score?
Bryan Broaddus (12:20 PM)
Had Dallas 24 Washington 17
-------------
Erik (Illinois)
Ogletree has a lot to prove in tonight's game. Cowboys fans have been calling for a #3 receiver. Do you see him having some success in tonight's game? I think he can the skills, just got to get his mind right.
Bryan Broaddus (12:23 PM)
Ogletree needs to play well tonight there is no doubt about that. Austin and Witten were outstanding last week but you did see a little spark from Ogletree last week but needs more. He has the skill but just needs to find a way to finish better.
-------------
Sal (orlando)
Bryan, the cowboys need to find a way to run the ball more. It seems like we always try to use misdirection plays or draws. Why cant we just line up and run it down the middle?
Bryan Broaddus (12:25 PM)
This Redskins front likes to slant their line one way and the linebackers the other, there will be a chance to hit them while they are running themselves out of the play. The match up across the front is also better for the Cowboys size wise as well.
-------------
Benji (ATL)
How does Dez Bryant get open tonight?
Bryan Broaddus (12:27 PM)
Where Dez is at his best is when he can get vertical in his route. With the leg, how much can he do with this? I see the Cowboys using him on slants to try and get the ball to him quickly. If leg holds up, look for down the field plays.
-------------
Jeff (San Antonio)
Redskins players have been praising Tyron Smith this week. But, in your opinion, who wins the battle of 1st round rookies? Tyron or Kerrigan?
Bryan Broaddus (12:30 PM)
I really like this match up, Smith and Kerrigan are two outstanding players. The strength of Kerrigan is his ability to get the edge on the tackle. Smith has the ability to counter with his feet. Where Smith has to be careful if Kerrigan tries to rush hard inside. Weakness of Smith
-------------
israel morales la ca [via mobile]
Does washingtion redskins have a chance too win tonight. Wht do they have too do to get a win
Bryan Broaddus (12:31 PM)
The Redskins do have a chance to win tonight, defensively they can cause problems for the Cowboys. Like what they have done adding Hightower and Helu to run the ball. If Grossman doesnt make mistakes, chances go up.
-------------
Joe (New York)
What do you think about DeMarcus breaking the single season sack record this year?
Bryan Broaddus (12:34 PM)
DeMarcus loves this scheme. He likes the fact that he gets to move around to make plays. Teams will always try and get a gauge where Ware is, this scheme helps prevent that.
-------------
Big fan (Baltimore)
I'm worried about the matchups for us on Defense. Ball on Moss, Newman trying to Cover the speedy Anthony Armstrong , after not playing for 6 weeks, those TE's...ugh...
Bryan Broaddus (12:36 PM)
I think that all the concerns that you have going into this game are well thought out...the front office has the same concerns as you do.
-------------
Chet (San Marcos)
Key matchup: stopping Santana Moss. How do we stop him?
Bryan Broaddus (12:39 PM)
There is no doubt that this is a kep match up. Moss and Davis have been outstanding. The Redskins do a great job of moving Moss around, the Cowboys cant lose track of where he is in the formation. Grossman loves to try and get him the football on the move. Again, 3rd down will be key here.
-------------
Logan (Sioux Falls)
How many hits do you think Romo will be able to take tonight? Do you think he will be able to play the full game if he gets hit 6-8 times?
Bryan Broaddus (12:41 PM)
It will be up to the OL and backs to keep Romo up right tonight. Also dont forget that WRs will need to be on the same page for "Hot" reads. I dont see Romo coming out of this game no matter how many hits he takes.
-------------
John (Houston)
Using your scouting eye how much has our safety situation improved?
Bryan Broaddus (12:44 PM)
Where the Cowboys have gotten better at safety is in the red zone coverage. Elam did a solid job against Veron Davis last week. Sensabaugh had some early hits driving on the ball as well. Only real bust was against the Jets when Sensabaugh was trying to line up McCann and Holmes made a play on him.
-------------
Steve (Oxnard)
How can a running back play with a dislocated shoulder? With all of the hits RB's take in that area I don't see how Felix can stay on the field.
Bryan Broaddus (12:45 PM)
The Cowboys will dress enough RBs for this game. If Jones is struggling you will see Choice and Murray get into the mix too.
-------------
Aggie (TX)
Congrats on your Tigers grabbing the top spot. Who will the Cowboys have on Santana Moss tonight?
Bryan Broaddus (12:47 PM)
Thanks on the LSU stuff...still a long way to go...500 yards of offense against them? Moss plays all over the place. Newman and Jenkins will draw him on the outside and Ball in the slot on the nickel.
-------------
Eric (Baltimore)
Can Washington's offensive line hold up against the Cowboy's front 7, and can the Cowboy's defense carry this game?
Bryan Broaddus (12:49 PM)
I see Rob Ryan getting after this OL for the Redskins. Look for Ryan to attack the middle of there line. If the Redskins do struggle that is where it is.
-------------
Ty (Marksville)
Do you think Redskins go deep tonite on the secondary particularly the safties.
Bryan Broaddus (12:51 PM)
Grossman doesnt have the arm strength to really horse the ball down the field. I am not saying he wont try but its just not one of his strengths. These Redskins WRs can really run but can the QB get them the ball?
-------------
Nathan (Marshall)
I love your insight bryan. What are the keys to vicory in tonights game?
Bryan Broaddus (12:52 PM)
Handle the Redskins running the ball, win on 3rd down and find a way to make plays in the passing game on offense.
-------------
gilvega (watching ESPN)
Which Dez will we see tonight? The 1st QT Jets game Dez, or the 4th QT Jets game Dez?
Bryan Broaddus (12:55 PM)
If Bryant is healthy enough, he can make plays against this secondary. WRs make their living with their legs, if they arent right, its tough. You will know very early where Dez is at.
-------------
Samuel (Maryland)
Love reading your scouting reports! Can the Cowboy's other WRs (Ogletree and Holley) do anything against the redskin's secondary if they are called upon?
Bryan Broaddus (12:58 PM)
Ogletree and Holley made plays last week against a 49ers secondary that I didnt think was very good going into the game and they werent. Of the two players mentioned, I think that Ogletree has the best chance to be productive but he is going to have to bring his "A" game.
-------------
Bryan Broaddus (12:59 PM)
