Indianapolis will face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday for the first time since 2006. Colts quarterback Peyton Manning knows where to go for an updated scouting report on the unfamiliar foe.

Manning said he will pick the brain of younger brother Eli this week. Eli Manning is the quarterback of the New York Giants, who face the Cowboys twice a year during the regular season.

Their talks have been more significant this year. Indianapolis has played the NFC East, which includes the Giants. The Giants have played the AFC South, which includes Indianapolis.

``I always talk to Eli about any team that he's played against,'' Peyton Manning said on a conference call today. ``Basically when I talk to him, it just re-affirms what you think. Dallas looks very fast to me on defense. Very athletic. You see lots of talent all over the field. That's why I think it's going to be such a challenge for our offense from an execution standpoint, from a scheme standpoint, from a matchup standpoint. They really present a lot of problems.''

Eli Manning has won five of his last seven starts against the Cowboys. In those games, he has thrown for 15 touchdowns with nine interceptions.

Yeah, no shit why would he take advice from Eli.

That's just plain dumb.

You're talking about a Super Bowl winning QB. A guy who led his team down the field and threw the winning touchdown in the closing moments, on the grandest stage you'll ever play on.

I'd say their side is the one who has the right to laugh at their rival's QB.

-- Overall, Eli Manning is 4-4 the last four years against the Cowboys. Eli's 8-game totals are:
157 comp/262 att (60% completion)
13 TDs, 7 INTs
1916 yards (avg 240 ypg)

I'd say Eli Manning has quite a bit to tell his brother.

I just find it funny that Peyton would look to Eli for advice.
