Broaddus Breakdown (viewed Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M games): Will normally line up as the left corner but can also play on the right side. Will line up in the slot as well, which he did quite a bit against Oklahoma. … Is a physical player at the point. Is not afraid to mix it up with blockers. Did a solid job with his hands shedding blockers and getting in on the play. Doesn't have the quick feet of the others corners I have studied but is far more aggressive when it comes to playing the run. … The strange thing about Williams’ quickness is that if you look at his 20 shuttle time, it's right there with the top corners. But he doesn't play that quick. Moves more like a safety than a corner. Doesn't have that burst that you see with the others. Doesn't have that extra gear when you see him turn and run. … Was shocked when I saw his combine timed speed, but watching him, I now understand. There were a couple of plays where you saw some questions about his speed. … Pedals high and is not as smooth as he needs to be in transition. Will labor to adjust and turn. Receivers are able to gain separation in route. In off coverage, takes too much time to react. Has to gather, then go. … Was clearly beaten off the line by Justin Blackmon of Oklahoma State on a slant in the red zone; Williams tried to drive but just couldn't get there. Blackmon was in the clear and dropped the ball. … Played much better against Jeff Fuller of Texas A&M because Fuller runs about the same speed. Fuller tried to run an out on him, but Williams was able to read the route then break to the outside and defend the ball. Fuller also took him on a vertical route, beating Williams off the line. There again was separation, but the ball was overthrown or it would have been a touchdown. … Have some questions about his recovery speed but no questions about his ability to be a physical player. After studying him, would not be surprised if some teams have him on the board as a projected safety instead of a corner.

If we were to address the FS position at 40 he would be one of my choices. The other is Rahim Moore.
