no idea why brian flores is even on the list
for starters, he's black . jerry aint hiring a black HC that is not a bumblefuck or shill like deion, and flores is neither
secondly, flores and the whole discrimination suit against the NFL, no way would jerry would hire someone who threatened his league
and finally, flores thought tua sucked balls, told him as much and made tua cry. i doubt jerry will want his precious dak to have his manhood eviscerated by a guy that knows what he's looking at and doesnt havea filter

I'll still disagree. I always think that if you can win with a backup you're doing something right. Cooper Rush is not a quality backup but he gave the team a chance when Dak was out. This wasn't always the case and certainly wasn't the case with the Red Dolt.

McCarthy was certainly better than Red Dolt, I don't think they're really that close either.
I think McCarthy was ok, if I had to rank the coaches under Jones I'd probably have McCarthy 2nd or 3rd.
But "ok" was never going to get them over the hump. They have some players here who need hard coaching, and he isn't that guy. Certainly Jones and Spawn create a culture that will make it almost impossible for anyone to really succeed, but in the most important games we always came up small. They struggled with clock management and penalties every yr and game plans were iffy far too often. Those are things he should have a grasp of and can control, but didnt.
It wont surprise me if Jones hires someone far worse than McCarthy, he certainly has proven he can do that. But I don't think McCarthy is exceptional at all.
