According to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPNNewYork.com, on this week's episode of "The T.Ocho Show" both Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco made it known that they want to play for Rex Ryan and become Jets next season.
The Jets already have to stellar wideouts, Santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards, who are scheduled to be free agents this offseason. Both are younger, faster, and better than T.O. and Ochocinco at this point in their careers. The Jets wants to bring both of them back but don't think it is feasible financially. Needless to say, "Batman and Robin" replacing the duo for the Jets is a highly unlikely scenario-particularly when it appears that even their current team the Bengals don't really want them back.
Of course that didn't stop the pair from talking about playing in green and white.
“They will make it to this point every year," Ochocinco said about the Jets, who made it to their second straight AFC Championship Game. "I'd do anything to play for someone like Rex Ryan or anyone who has that type of mentality." Owens added, ""I'm jumping on that bandwagon, too, because I was thinking the exact same thing, Chad."
Owens will be a free agent whenever a new collective bargaining agreement is reached. Ochocinco is due to make $6 million but it will all be in base salary according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. Ochocinco wants to be traded bwecause he doesn't want to play for Marvin Lewis anymore and Lewis would be ecstatic to ship him out of town. Both players will be lucky to find any team that wants them next year.
Don't expect the "T.Ocho Show" to be part of Gang Green next season.
