Horrid. No Montana guys. Only one North Dakota guy.

I don't think you understand what the draft is about.

Gabe Jackson is just like Warford last year. A power man blocker, hence probably not even on our board.

Otherwise, an outstanding job. Several booze-approved players, especially Ellington.

I was going to say this. Gabe is the kind of OL we seem to be going away from. Seeking athleticism over size/strength.

And that's fine, that is what you need in a zone scheme.

Funny thing is, we will probably scrap the whole concept when Jones fires everyone and then we are stuck with zone players in a power scheme.

Agreed, wanted to go Xavier Su'a-Filo there but I felt he'd be gone by 47. Maybe they learned a lesson from Warford last year and will take a pretty good player and get him on the field...who am I kidding? I'll swap out Gabe Jackson for Troy Niklaus immediately.

I don't see a real reason to take a player that doesn't fit the scheme. We are not smart enough or have a good enough coaching staff to take a player and work around their skillset. Too hard for us.

But what bugged me more about that situation was that we actually had Floyd at six, and he didn't fit either. If you are going to be retarded, be retarded all the time.
