Barber Stiff-Arms Dress Code Talk

Barber did his best to sidestep questions about the dress code and the RB rotation. IRVING, Texas - Getting running back Marion Barber to open up about anything has been quite a chore during his six-year career in Dallas.
So, naturally, discussing his apparent dress-code violation from last weekend's road trip to New York wasn't high on Barber's priority list. However, he did oblige with reporters for a few minutes, providing some short and relatively vague answers about not only the dress-code situation, which reportedly cost him a fine from the team, but also the running back rotation, which saw Felix Jones start his first game last week.
What were your thoughts on Felix starting the game last week with the first carry?
Barber: I have never cared about starting because I'm an unselfish person.
Do you like the way you've been used this year?
Barber: However they use me I'm going to continue to work regardless of the scenario, situation or circumstance.
Were you surprised when you didn't start the game?
Barber: Can we talk about the future? The next game? The Detroit Lions?
OK, who do you think will get the first carry against the Lions?
Barber: I don't make the call. All I worry about is what we do prior to the game, how we prepare. How we work in practice. That's most important.
Do you like how team responded to changes with Garrett going forward?
Barber: Yeah, it's positive changes.
Are the leaders setting examples for the changes?
Barber: We are all leaders in our way.
Do you feel you have more to show as a captain and take more of a lead and buying in?
Barber: That's a trick question, next question.
Does it bother you about the reported dress code violation?
Barber: By no means, that's your job. Why would I get mad at what you guys (the media) do? I respect what you do. I respect what you do. Why would I cry about what you do? That is your job. That's what comes with the territory.
