Dez Bryant was limited in practice Thursday because of a back injury that surfaced after being hit Wednesday, according to a team report.

In the locker room afterward, Bryant wore an electrical muscle stimulator. The device is used to reduce muscle spasms, inflammation and joint pain.

Bryant, who has made 44 receptions for 547 yards and six touchdowns this year, has experienced his share of setbacks in his rookie campaign. This season he has suffered a bruised tailbone, injured ribs and a high-ankle sprain, the last of which forced Bryant to miss the entire preseason and was re-aggravated Oct. 10 during a 34-27 loss against Tennessee.

As Bryant has endured wear and tear, he has missed significant practice time and a number of repetitions. But come game day, Bryant has been available.

Fine China my ass. What Dez needs to understand is when to go down and when to fight for the yards. Dude is 100% go all the way. Plays with the pain and is still a playmaker. Guess some forget Irvin's first couple of years when there were questions about his injury threshold as well.

Fine china "so far", bubba.

Irvin looked like fine china at the start of his career. Then he proved he wasn't.

Bryant has had one injury after another since he's been here. I didn't make it up. It's legit.

Now he has to prove as Irvin did that he's not a guy who is constantly injured.

But..."so far"....fine china.

Can't remember the last time he didn't suit up and play in a game for Dallas, Can you?

Nope. Not in a game that counts, anyway.

I'm not saying he's not tough. I'm saying he's been constantly battling one injury after another since he's been here.

Did Dez yell at the trainer? "FUCK, it's my back!!" "calm down, Dez." "I CAN'T. THIS IS HOW I TALK! I'M EMOTIONAL!"

LOL. What kind of shit is that? There hasn't been ONE game that has "counted" in the past 6 to 8 games?. Maybe I am not following you there. If that is the case, Miles, Williams are in the same boat. Miles and Williams both have slight injuries they are battling as well. Dez has been nursing the ankle injury because of the hack(#32), and the back was not a normal injury, and he made a great catch IMO. lol... The ribs? Hell, shouldnt' be returning punts anyhow. Course, if he isn't doing that, maybe he doesn't get to play on the offense because you know how "important" ST's play is. haha.

Dez, he has had an okay season for a rook. I wished for more. Hopefully he will learn some patience and calm down. He is a good one, I just hope Dallas doesn't get impatient and Jimmy Smith his ass.

You're not.

I'm saying you're right. The games Dez has missed were meaningless preseason games. He's been on the field for any game that has counted.

Apologize about that. I must of read wrong.

I do agree that he needs to settle down a little.

I wonder about that. If his physical style will lead to constant nagging injuries. Or even shorten his career.

Or will he adjust and pick his spots as he gets more experience.

Like I said, there isn't a better guy to teach him than Ray Sherman. I hope Garrett retains him in the offseason. I'm pretty sure he will.
