Miles Austin still not practicing

December, 1, 2011
By Todd Archer

IRVING, Texas -- Miles Austin is not practicing again, which is a sign he will not play Sunday at Arizona because of a hamstring injury.

Austin was riding the stationary bike during the portion of practice open to the media, as was fullback Tony Fiammetta, who will miss his third straight game with an illness. Backup nose tackle Josh Brent (knee), running back Phillip Tanner (hamstring) and quarterback Jon Kitna (back) were also missing from practice.

The Cowboys are being cautious with Austin because he has injured both hamstrings during the season. He missed two games this year and a portion of training camp because of a left hamstring injury. He hurt his right hamstring against Seattle on Nov. 6.

I emailed our trainers a few hamstring stretches that I printed out online, hope this helps keep Dez and Laurent healthy going forward at least.

I call BS. Everyone knows the Cowboys get their medical and scouting advice from the Zone.
Just ridiculous for you to claim this while a fiction-writer and a mole person work so hard to help the Cowboys.

Austin needs to stop being a little bitch and get his pussy ass on the fucking field. Who misses an entire season because of hamstring injuries? Pick up your vagina and get your gear on.. its football sweetheart.

:roythehammerUhhh. Andre Johnson missed 6 games with the same problem, and Austin has aggravated his twice this time. I'm guessing he's legitimately injured. I'm also guessing he could kick your ass pretty easily with or without a hamstring.

Check your sarcasm meter.. i think it may be broken.

(Also, the same reply to the usless poster above you.)

Its cute that you took the time to go back just to include a couple smilies though. Can't forget those when being ignorant.

I'd be more inclinedto blame the training staff. Somebody should be made to ensure that Austin is being properly stretched. Thios is ridiculous. Hamstring injuries are preventable.

Almost everyone predicted injuries like this would be way up this year because of the lockout, and they were right.

Nobody's training staff got to work with the players any this offseason.
