As expected Marc Colombo and Kyle Kosier are practicing today, but linebackers DeMarcus Ware and Sean Lee as well as fullback Deon Anderson are among the missing.

Ware suffered a stinger in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss at Washington but has said continually that he will play Sunday against Chicago. Lee has a hamstring strain that is knocking him out of practice. Anderson had ice on a knee during the media's access to the locker room but was in pads and on the field for the special teams' portion of practice. He left, however, before the full practice began.

Colombo, practicing for the first time since Aug. 15 after undergoing surgery the following day, was in his normal knee braces, while Kosier, who was hurt Aug. 18, had a brace on the outside of his knee with a heavy tape job.

Sean Lee likely to miss Sunday's game vs. Chicago with hamstring injury

Sean Lee most likely will not play this week because of a pulled hamstring suffered in the first quarter of Sunday's loss at Washington.

Coach Wade Phillips said Lee suffered the injury on the first punt of the game and it affected the rookie's ability to cover kicks the rest of the night. It also played a part in Bradie James and Keith Brooking taking every defensive snap. Lee saw one defensive snap when the Cowboys went with five linebackers on a play.

"He tried to play through it and it ended out hurting us overall," Phillips said.

With Lee out Phillips said Leon Williams would likely be active.

Also, fullback Deon Anderson has a knee injury. He attempted to practice but was pulled from the practice field.

"We cut him off at the pass," Phillips said.

If Anderson cannot play, then rookie Chris Gronkowski would take all of the fullback snaps. He split time with Anderson against the Redskins and had one carry for 8 yards.

It looks like Sean Lee is going to disappoint me too, because of another injury.
