There is a video online now showing the actual crash. I am not a pilot but it looks to me like the plane came down too hard and the landing gear broke off. Then the wings clipped the ground and the plane flipped over. It looks like pilot error to me.

But really on further examination, it actually looks quite smooth.

So... My old algebra teacher who flew jets in Korea and has flown all his life and I, did forensic picking of the video and we've concluded:

1.) Plane is coming in slightly too steep even though the plane itself is flat. Nose should have been up a little more.

2.) Before it hits the deck we see the left hand winglet fly up - which means the 40 knot crosswind got under it, lifted it and twists the whole plane to the right making right hand wing smack the deck right before the still twisting fuselage does. Left wing comes all the way over and smacks the deck on the right side too, as the airframe continues to twist.

Col. Heatherly's verdict: pilot error.

Col. Heatherly and I after seeing the crash from behind and from the other side, now believe we simply have a way too hard smack into the runway causing collapse of the starboard landing gear. Wind then got under the port wing and flipped the plane over as it slid up the runway. This is verified looking again at the first video and seeing the port winglet flop down sharply before it springs up violently.

Plain and simple, the pilot just flew it into the ground. Which was Col. Heatherly's original kneejerk statement. He flew for over 60 years.

Those people are fortunate to be alive today, it could have easily been a mass casualty event.

I absolutely believe companies that promote DEI should be charged criminally when the hiring of substandard people caused injury or loss of life. I don't want unqualified people flying or repairing my planes...driving my train....performing my surgeries, putting out my fires or EMT work. I want people who are proven to be the best of the best and extremely gifted...anything less than that is 100% criminal IMO and these people who are pushing this agenda should be held accountable.

And that's all it is, just dumb luck that the wings snapped off as the fuel in them ignited, and that the fuselage stayed intact. Belly tank caught fire but there wasn't much fuel in it. All 80 people should play the lottery ASAP.

They did, and they all won.

No way to prove this I guess, but I bet if that same scenario happened 1000 times that in 999 of them a lot of people (if not every one of them) would die.

From the Internet....

The Delta Airlines flight that flipped over and crashed at Pearson Airport was operated by Endeavor Air, a company that has relentlessly pushed DEI initiatives and bragged about having “unmanned” all-female flights that contained no male staff.Respondents to the shocking incident noted how Endeavor Air, the Delta subsidiary that operated the flight, was obsessed with DEI initiatives, and produced a feminist girlboss video promoting its all-female flights with a rap song featuring the lyrics “bad girls do it well.”

Other videos linked to the company show other female Endeavor Air flight crew and stewardesses performing choreographed dance routines celebrating the total absence of men.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt ripped Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) for suggesting that Trump’s FAA layoffs were partly to blame for the disastrous landing.

“It’s incredibly irresponsible for Chuck Schumer to say such a thing when the investigation is still underway,” the press sec told Fox News’ “America Reports” late Tuesday.

“This crash unfortunately took place in Canadian airspace with Canadian air-traffic controllers overseeing it,” she said.
