Everyone keeps talking about what an amazing star/stud he is. If you listened to the broadcast, whomever those guys were, they were slobbering whenever he carried the ball.

I think he's been the beneficiarry of some terrible tackling teams.

Am I crazy?

Just because I can enjoy the feel of another mans strong hands caressing my body doesn't make me gay.

I'm just really secure in my sexuality. Really, really secure.

But back on topic....

Yeah, Murray doesn't wow me. And I still think he ends the year on IR.

He has looked really good, his patience and ability to get out of the first tackle attempt have been pretty much awesome.

wrong isnt the word

dumb is more fitting

no, but seriously...do you just all of a sudden think the offensive line is blocking a million times better? i find that hard to believe..its a combo of the line doing a better job and murray being a much better rb than jones

He looks to be the best back we've had in years. My main concern is his durability. But he if stays healthy I think he'll be a good one. Of course, Julius Jones broke out in 2004 and then digressed and then washed out. So I guess we'll have to wait for the final verdict, but right now I like what I see.

Murray is somehow both great and awful in the open field at the same time. Hell get to the 2nd level in a hurry and then be drawn to the lone potential tackler like a magnet.

lol...so whats your reasoning behind our power running game? you really just think the oline is that good all of a sudden?
I wouldn't exactly say we have a power running game. We still struggle to run in short yardage situations.

...or just fall down. He does need to work on his stamina, but it's much better than what teh Choice brought to the field or the cripple.

Maybe. I don't remember many short yard failures for Murray. Most plays in these situations have been passes.

I wouldn’t say i am wowed by him either. He isn’t breaking ankles like Shady McCoy. To me he looks like a work horse type running back. In that sense i am impressed to finally see an every down back playing for the Cowboys. The guy can do it all and looks like he has a bright future.

I also picked him up on my fantasy team, so i hope Felix can fuck off.

I think people are pumping him up a little to much.

He has looked good but not special IMO he has been getting much better blocking and has been afforded a opportunity to get into rhythm and has not left many yards on the field.

I have been impressed by his ability to break tackles but he has not done anything really really amazing IMO.

Its very telling that our best running days have been when the FB has been healthy and Holland is definitely a upgrade.
