IRVING – The Cowboys should be rested and healthy for Sunday's home game against Tennessee.

The club returned to practice Monday after a long weekend break owed to the bye. All injured players – tight ends Jason Witten (knee) and Martellus Bennett (ankle), offensive linemen Marc Colombo (knee) and Kyle Kosier (knee) and wide receiver Dez Bryant (hip and ribs) – engaged in various activities and are expected to fully participate in Wednesday's practice, coach Wade Phillips said.

"That's a good thing at this point," Phillips said. "We know it's a long season, but you never can tell if you have guys banged up or not."

Kosier and Witten caused the most concern for the Cowboys after each emerged from the win at Houston with a sprained knee ligament. Both said they expect to play against Tennessee.

This is Kosier's second sprained knee ligament of the season. He incurred the same injury during training camp and missed the season opener while recovering.

"I felt like I just reinjured what I spent four weeks trying to get better," Kosier said

The Cowboys' relative good health gives them an advantage over Tennessee. The Titans will be without rookie defensive end Derrick Morgan, who will miss the remainder of the season after tearing a knee ligament in Sunday's loss to Denver. Morgan had 1 ½ sacks in a reserve role.

I think what Wade is referring to, is that some guys are closed mouth about their various bumps & bruises.

He can't tell if his players are injured? Horseshit.

He sees them every day in practice. Just saying.
