The entire performance minus Felix - Witten - Tyron - Elam

The coaching staff was a mess, way too many penalties - no discipline.

Lonyae Miller is not a baller - Romo looked scared, dumped balls off, picked off, ran outside too soon.

I hate out WR depth

I hate our LG hole

I 2ndary is atrocious - that's a 44-16 game folks if Rivers stays in.

The D Line is laughable.

I said we were a 6 Win team - I just downgraded us to 5....

lol...44-16 game? It was a 10-7 game with the Chargers 1's and the Cowboys 1's. And that was without Miles, Jenkins and Newman.

I don't see us being a powerhouse, but your 6 win team is laughable.

Jason Garrett is holding the Cowboys accountable for how they perform in the practice and it games.
To that end, he was not happy with last night's performance against the Chargers and let the players know it in no uncertain terms after the game.
It wasn't so much the 20-7 setback as it was the three turnovers, mental breakdowns and gaffes on defense.
Never mind that it was just the second preseason game. Garrett said things must be cleaned up now, especially the turnovers.
"What I told the team after was, without having seen the stats, I bet we had more yards," Garret said. "I bet we ran for more yards. I bet we threw for more yards. I bet we were better on third down. But ultimately it comes down to we turned it over three times and they didn't turn it over at all. We need to do a better job taking care of the football. We need to do a better job getting it away from them. That is statistic No. 1 in the NFL and we lost tonight. I think that was a big reason why."
Garrett was not done either.
He said "we live in reality. There was some things that happened that exposed us. There were a number of mental mistakes. We need to play better. There are some things that happened tonight that are mistakes that we shouldn't have made. There were some good things that happened but there were a lot of things that need to be addressed."

Oh boy....


I am not the first one to defend this team or defense. But, jesus, It's still the fucking preseason for crying out loud.

This defense smells - from the paper thin DL to the overrated Terrance Newman .... We''l be in the bottom 10 in defense this season , you can playaction us to death .... it was evident last nite.

And BTW , don't look now , but Tony Spencer is turning into Shante Carver's sister....

Not for nothing, but it is only the second preseason game, and we all knew the defense was going to have growing pains.

Get used to it because there's a lot more of them on their way.

Injury prone? Newman is. But, overrated? I never have heard that. I have always thought he is average.

Idk, I don't envision the D being any good this year. You guys really think these players, these underachievers on D, can master a complex scheme in one year? The back end and the ILBs still seem to be a concern, and all our hyped Dlinemen are doing nothing. Expect for Hatcher (and he's more of a sub-package type) and of course Ratliff is Ratliff.
