Cowboys safety Abram Elam didn't miss any practice time last week after the death of his father, Rev. Donald Elam Sr., last Thursday.
A funeral is planned for this Friday in Florida, and Elam, while expected to attend, is also hopeful to not miss any practice time.
"It was a difficult one, but it was something that this is important to me and I want to take advantage of it," Elam said. "I will find away to adjust [for practice]. We haven't set anything in stone, no, but I'm looking forward to it. I'm thankful to have the support that I've had from the organization. They are behind me 100 percent in whatever decision I make."
Elam finished with four tackles in Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
