I said I 'can' wait, meaning I can wait 48 hours.
Firing Wade gets that loser off the sideline. It doesn't really fix anything in the grand scheme of things, especially if Jerry doesn't swallow his pride and get out of the way. But, it sends a message that this shit is not okay and changes are coming, so nobody is safe, even mid season.
I'd go a step further and start benching these lazy gutless pricks. Maybe even release a couple guys. Scandrick, Ball, Bigg Davis and probably Marc Columbo. Shit, I may even waive Keith Brooking, he's clearly a shell of his former self.
So yeah, it doesn't do much if firing Wade is the only move you make.

I caught that, still my point remains the same and you recognize that by your response. I still don't think that firing the coach sends any type of message if the same players are allowed to make the same mistakes with no consequence. Benching Bigg Davis for a half does not count.

Unlikely thats going to happen, although he doesnt coach the players. He hired Parcells and ceded almost all control to him, I suspect his next hire will be similar.

Agreed.
That's why I try not to harp on the firing of Wade outside of the gamethread where obviously we all get emotional. I just wanna see heads roll, and like you say, with Wade gone, the players are going to do what they know still.

I dont know that any players are being coddled now.
Jerry deserves some blame, but he doesnt coach the players. He doesnt teach the fundamentals or draw up the game plans and call plays.
Jerry was the owner and supposed GM when we won 3 super bowls in 4 yrs. Just because he's here doesnt mean we cant be good.

Our players are too stupid and comfortable to hear the message, but it sends a message nonetheless.

I don't care either way if Wade gets canned. If he does, HALF of that roster better be right out the door with him.
And as far as the search for a coach goes? I don't care, as of now, who they bring in. Just hope that they get rid of that sopping joke of an OC as well as the bumbling idiot known as Wade as well. I can't take another 8 games of these two, let alone, another season with HIM still calling plays.
Why in the fuck is there EVEN a TE screen play? HUH? TE's are not known for their speed. And why is Barber even in the game in the 3rd qtr? Or, at all.?
