Yeah.So if they want to go for two do they still get to start at the 2?
Correct.Saints. Not rams.
Dammit, stop fucking with a formula that works. I predict a record number of secondary holding calls. Anyone that appreciates good defense will bail on the NFL.
But it turns out he's right, the younger crowd this shit appeals to is raised on video games and instant gratification, and the old ways NFL would just bore them to tears.Goodell doesn't care. He's a stupid fuck that believes video game like stats and scores is "entertainment value"

I definitely agree with the bolded but we're in a new era where there's got to be video game stats and video game scoring. When you see old timers like Mike Ditka calling last year's Dallas/Denver game a "great game" you know you've lost the battle, and lost the game of football forever. But they don't/didnt watch Arena League or CFL etc etc and those were stat/score happy leagues with tons of rules that favored the offense.
Its lousy football.
And furthermore, when a old school defense and team like Seattle chews up the video game team in the Soup Bowl, they get all upset and the next year vow to more aggressively enforce the passing game defensive rules - because we just can't have mean old bullies who still play nasty smash mouth football ruining a good time for anyone.
Honestly wtf are you even talking about
I'd seriously consider going for two every time.Line up for 2. Audible to PAT formation.
I'd seriously consider going for two every time.
Getting one point from the two y/l is better odds than getting one as a 33 yarder, you're sure right about that. But it's also better odds than getting the two from scrimmage. BUT.... if you make the 2 pointer 50% of the time there's no difference at all.You might as well go for two all the time already then. The odds aren't going to change significantly.
