We took either Cooper or Warmack in the first round...

We get to our pick in the 2nd round, and the top three players on our board have the same grade, which is fairly significantly higher than the 4th player on our board.

There is not a defensive guy we have rated this high, and there are no trade back possibilities.

The three guys on our board look like this:

Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
Eddie Lacey, RB, Alabama
Travis Frederick, G, Wisconsin

Team has two minutes to turn their card in. We either take one of these guys, or reach.

Who you taking?

meh, If I had to choose out of that underwhelming group, it would have to be Hunter.

We're not a power rushing team. So we're going to revamp the Oline again for 2 rookies who have a 50% chance of doing marginally during their careers?

Fucking gay.

Why is the amount of time the team has to turn their card in relevant at all?

It makes it more exciting. Like how point/counterpoint discussion segments on sports shows has a clock ticking down in the corner of the screen even though the analysts often ignore it and talk after the clock expires. Just seeing the clock provides a level of excitement for the viewer.

You read this thread, and you ponder what you'd do, but you feel pressure (read: excitement) in knowing you have to make a decision and vote in the poll before 120 seconds elapses.
