As if this game needed more storylines with the Cowboys getting Dak Prescott back and traveling to face Tom Brady and the defending champion Bucs in Week 1. Now, the Cowboys will be without one of their best players.

There are a lot of possibilities and what ifs heading into this season. Is Dak back? Will the defense improve under Dan Quinn? Will Cee Dee Lamb take a huge step forward in season two? Can the offensive line stay healthy? I'd like to assume some of these on the positive end, but until I see different I'm going to lean towards the status quo. Calling it 27-24 Tampa.

Instead of worrying whether Newton's lack of vaxx was why he was cut. He said they're seeing no difference between non vaxxed and vaxxed players where covid is concerned.

media around here brushed it off. said there were statistics that proved the opposite. i stop paying attention to the radio when they get too into covid talk

recently belichick sort of walked back on some of his comments slightly, but moreso to the fact that covid didnt effect the decision to release cam newton or any players. hes not as stupid as urban meyer bringing an investigation on his team

I tend to agree feels like a good time to load up on Tampa. They're returning everyone, can stop the run well, Dak has to be rusty and the D will likely suck per usual. Seems like easy money but I'm so snake bit from gambling on the NFL, I dont have the balls to place a big bet on Tampa

It’s now being reported that Brady caught da Covids earlier this year after the celebration parade for the Super Bowl in February.

We have already had more Cowboy players placed on the reserve Covid list this preseason than we did ALL of last season. Covid could easily be a huge determining factor this season. All it take is for a Brady/Mahomes/Rogers or similar player to get placed on the Covid reserve list because of contact tracing at the wrong time to fuck up an entire season.

I wonder how screwy this season is going to get because of Covid.

I can see more than one team having to play with alternate players as their emergency QB because the teams entire QB rooms have been placed on the Covid reserve list.

I believe someone mentioned that Gallop could end up as our emergency QB because he played QB at a lower level at one point. They mentioned one or two other players on our team who also previously played QB at some point in their careers but I can’t remember the other names right now.

I’m watching last years Super Bowl again. Since the Bucs returned every single one of their starters I figured that the SB would be a good thing to scout to get a good idea of what we will be up against on Thursday night.

That Bucs D Line is no joke. They have Mahomes running for his life nearly every play. Dak is fucked! Especially with Martin being replaced by a back up. I guess we will see how good Dak’s ankle has healed pretty fucking quickly. It’s gonna have to be dink and dunk Dak to the rescue if we hope to survive. Because he ain’t gonna have time to do shit back there by the looks of it.
