I should probably put "SPOILER ALERT" in the thread title. I did this last year, and turned out to be 100% accurate.

Others weighed in with their predictions, but were exposed as the small minded know-nothing fools that they are.

NFL 2012 Predictions

Here's mine, * indicates WC teams

AFC East: New England, NYJ, Buffalo, Miami

New England isnt a great team IMO, but the rest of this division is terrible. Wont be a surprise to me if they are the only team over .500

AFC North: Cinci, *Pitt, Baltimore, Cleve

Cinci has a good young team and they seem to be on the rise...Pitt edges Balt slightly IMO because of R'Berger. Cleveland looks like another 4-12 type season

AFC South: Houston, Tennessee, Jacksonville, Indy

Houston is gonna run away with this division IMO, probably have home field adv/ Like the AFC East, I dont think any of the other 3 teams are playoff teams

AFC West: San Diego, *Denver, KC, Oakland

San Diego has alot of talent, I dont think Rivers plays as off and on as he did last year again. Denver is banking alot on Manning being healthy, but IMO he's one hit away from retirement and his arm strength looks very average at best.

NFC West: SF, Seattle, Arizona, St Louis

I think SF will win the division, but they wont win anywhere near 13 games. The other 3 teams are mediocre at best and could finish in any order behind SF IMO

NFC South: New Orleans, Tampa, Carolina, Atlanta

New Orleans will still outscore most teams. I think Tampa could be much improved, although their OL and DL have taken hits in preseason. Carolina has an explosive offense. I picked Atlanta last because their OL is continuing to fade and their defense is gonna be horrible.

NFC North: Green Bay, *Detroit, Chicago, Minnesota

If Detroit can play even average defense, they could have a shot at unseating GB, who's defense was awful itself last year and didnt appear to be any different in preseason. Chicago could easily nab the 2nd WC spot.

NFC East: Dallas, *NYG, Philly, Washington

Yeah yeah, I'm homering here. I just cant pick against them to start the season. But I do think this team will be significantly improved from last year, and we were just one bad throw/route/lost ball (whatever) from winning the division last year. I'm not sure NYG or Philly has improved that much, and NYG may have come out of preseason with more OL question marks than we have, in addition to having a secondary that could be in big trouble. Washington will be fortunate to win 4 games IMO, and they dont have a first rd pick in 2013 or 2014 to look forward to.

Every team in the division seems to have Oline problems.

Man it's tough leaving some teams out of the playoffs in the NFC

the nfc is so much better than the afc this year its not funny.

I cant believe people are ignoring all the issues new england has and is just penciling them in the superbowl.

the only thing I feel comfortable predicting is that miami is one of the worst football teams I have ever seen.

I wouldnt be suprised if they get shutout more than once.
