It doesn’t matter if it comes from one guy or two – or if it’s split up by rushing or receiving yards, if you can rack up more than 200 yards from your backs, it’s a good day.
Sunday was a good day for the Cowboys’ tailbacks then. That’s quite a 1-2 punch with Felix Jones rushing for 70 yards on 12 carries, with another 47 receiving yards on two grabs.

Tashard Choice got more carries with 15, including the last three at the end with the game tied and the Cowboys trying to get into field-goal range. Choice added four catches for 31 yards.

Add it all up and the running backs were moving the ball. And that’s what you expected from an offense with so many injuries at wide receiver. You thought Jason Witten would go off – he did with 10 catches for 140 yards.

You thought the running backs would play well, and they did better than that, providing close to half of the 434 total offensive yards.

Wonder how things will change if and when Marion Barber returns next week. But for this game, the Cowboys showed that Jones and Choice can be an effective combination.

Yeah, but the thing is we can't run the ball consistently throughout the game.

Why? We know why.

If Barber comes back and cuts into these guys playing time, then I'm going to lose some respect for Garrett.

Especially if Barber continues to be as ineffective as he's been all year, but still gets carries over the remaining weeks.

If they are not brining Romo back, and they shouldn't, then there is no need to bring back Barber. It serves no purpose at this juncture.

Why lose respect for Jason, it's Jerry who will push the issue.
