I called this last week. If they lost, there'd be a players only meeting.

I scare myself sometimes with how accurate I am on football.

Players meeting never work anyway.

They're overrated, but they have worked on occasion. See 2007 Giants.

I remember back in the early 1990s, the Chargers started something like 0-4, held a P.O.M., then ran off 11 straight wins or something to that effect.

Also . . . the Schottenheimer 0-5 to 8-8 Redskins had a P.O.M. when they hit that 0-5 mark.

Now, I don't think anything happens during these meetings that serve as a magical elixer . . . but I don't see how it would hurt.

Well, we'll wait and see Sunday if it helped or not.

I'm thinking it won't.

Let's hope they are watching film of the last two games over and over. And then hopefully, they will storm into Wades' and Garrett's offices and yell "What the fuck are you guys doing?". "We saw on film how we have been playing, but, damn".

They got to do something. It'd been better if they didn't announce and just went on and did it.

You and everyone else---myself included are screaming about holding players accountable.... well... it's got to start somewhere. Being that the coaches are not going to hold the players accountable, then the players need to hold themselves accountable, and that all starts with having a meeting.
