Was Buffalo sitting its starters?
Looks like a lot of them sat out, incl Allen

Still, Bills are a more talented overall team and they had their #2 guy play Trubisky) who's been in the league for years. Milton outplayed him.

Here's some highlights from the New England game.

Most key players for Buffalo sat but there are some starters mixed in.

Milton's efforts helped cost the Pats the #1 overall pick as fyi.

no starters from BUF

patriots had been eliminated from the playoffs for weeks

patriots were on a 6 game losing streak and

team was still playing hard and had probably the worst roster in the NFL

milton had no blocking and the by FAR the worst WR room in the league

dude still made shit happen, has a cannon, and can throw the ball out of the stadium

big dude, like you said, with experience running the ball

low pick out the door, even get a pick back in return with the player

love the trade 100%

Some of the Bills starters actually did play, as did many of their primary backups.
Grinds my gears a tiny bit though, that Jerruh for the first time in years gave us something to celebrate and look forward to.

Every pass and run play from Joe Milton's week 18 start v Buffalo last yr.

Solid game for the rookie making his first start ever. He ends the game 22/29 for 241 yds, 1 TD and no picks. He had another TD throw reversed due to a hold penalty and added a rushing TD on a read option play. There's definitely some throws and plays here that make you think he might be a really good developmental piece, and we've got him for 3 more years on a rookie deal.
