I would have sympathy for you (really, there's nothing worse then over excited local fans who only support the team when they're winning) but for years I lived among north cali Cowboys fans. You would hate them and they support the same team as you. I'm with you on making the rivalry relevant in the context of competing for the division but I don't have enough faith in our front office to properly build a team or yours to replenish the roster which you might have to do in a few years. The Giants and Eagles on the other hand know how to build up their roster. I'd trade any Redskins not wearing numbers 10 or 91 for Jerry Reese.

Actually, that's kind of a stretch. Theres as many Steelers/Cowboys/Ravens fans here as there are Redskins fans. But maybe that's because the Skins have been so bad for so long. Once they start winning, a lot might come out of the woodwork.

I can tell I'm going to hate RGIII for a lot of years. On the one hand, I'd rather you and us be the best teams in the NFC East as opposed to the Eagles/Giants. On the other hand, I'm in Redskins country (va beach) and I have to listen to moron Skins fans all the time. Shoot me in the face.

More missed at Jimmy Hazelett than anyone else Morgan made one mistake but Hazelett handed the Rams the game. On the bright side Jones may have been right about RG3 long term

I didn't see the Orakpo sack. But I started to feel good after the Giants couldn't do anything after the first interception, and then the odd drops by Nicks. That first drop set the tone. Giants came out flat and disinteretsed. The NFC East is weird.

Define "going anywhere." Do I think we're going to the Super Bowl? Of course not. Do I think we're going to win the division and go to the playoffs? Yes. As a fan, am I excited about that? You betcha. You'd kill to be in our position right now.

We've been NFC East EMT's for a while now but hopefully we won't do it for the Eagles. Orakpo and Kerrigan need to have the game of their lives and K-Fed Shanahan has to actually call a game according to the opposing defense's weakness because their defense can be exploited. If they put it all together in one game maybe only the Packers can beat them and it might happen on Sunday.

I can't decide if I'll be rooting for the Skins this weekend or not. I know you guys don't have the talent to win the division and will come down to earth sooner or later. The Eagles, if they turn it around, could still contend. Unlikely, but possible. That said, I'm tired of the bandwagon Skins fans coming out of the closet lately here in Virginia Beach. A few losses would shut them back up.
