Philly is impressing me with how physical they're playing. Last week might not have been a fluke.

Definitely not a finesse team.

Can't tell who I should root for.

I question whether we can win the division. So if wildcard is the way to go, then Seattle is in our way.

I hate the iggles so damn much, I just can't bring myself to root for them

probably doesn't matter with our defense and the slow starting O

Worst case scenario would be Seahawks win today and Eagles beat us next week.

Yes sir, hate to see this in only Kellys second year. They don't have to pay a QB top dollar and they're still winning, gives them a lot of room for improvement if they can spend wisely.

Anyone think Dallas could release Dez and win with their backup QB (iggles traded Desean Jackson and are playing buttfumble at QB)?

And when we hired Garrett I thought he was going to be a very good coach and I scoffed at the Chip Kelly hire thinking he would flop.

I'm dumb as fuck.

Seemingly everyone scoffs at Kelly but the current league setup & rules seems perfect for his system, some things I see that bode well for him:

rosters turn over 50% (approximately) per year so if their system gives them more reps and develops more players & a deeper roster, they should gain an edge

The rules HEAVILY favor the offense so defense is harder to play which only helps his O (but their D looks pretty decent)

you can only have 14 contact practices

Kelly's practice methods double the reps and even gets the back ups tons of reps making them better prepared to play in case of injury (they kept winning despite missing several linemen)

they're fitter due to their practice pace and greater number of plays

the system seems greater than the individual so they don't appear to have to be strapped as much by the cap

They emphasize diet and sleep (essential for recovery in any athletic endeavor)

I guess the hope is that his offense turns out to be a gimmick that eventually gets exposed but it seems to be more run based than I was lead to believe and perhaps the time of possession issue catches up with them

Hellova start for Kelly in 2 years, hope things find a way of falling apart but its not trending that way

I hate cocky McCoy, I wish someone would get a clean hit on him and knock his head off

If Arizona and Philly loses, then Dallas goes up to Philly and wins, Does that lock Dallas into the wildcard?

Ouch....

The Rams perfectly trolled the Redskins about winning the RG3 trade | For The Win

The Rams perfectly trolled the Redskins about winning the RG3 trade
By: CHRIS STRAUSS

The St. Louis Rams certainly said enough on Sunday with their play, beating the Washington Redskins 24-0 in a game that saw the Rams defense amass seven sacks and two turnovers.

As much of a statement as that proved to be, ESPN’s Rams reporter Nick Wagoner noticed that head coach Jeff Fisher had sent a subtle yet perfect message to Washington before the game even kicked off.

In a game where Robert Griffin III, who the Redskins traded six picks to acquire with the second overall pick of the 2012 draft, sat on the bench until an injury to starting quarterback Colt McCoy forced him into action at the end of the game, St. Louis made a pregame show of the six players now contributing to their roster thanks to the deal.

Cornerback Janoris Jenkins, defensive tackle Michael Brockers (both 2012 draft picks), running back Zac Stacy, linebacker Alec Ogletree, wide receiver Stedman Bailey (all 2013 picks) and 2014 first-round pick Greg Robinson all served as the game’s coin toss captains. All six of those players were drafted with the picks acquired in the RG3 trade.

Solid trolling, Jeff Fisher.

Like I said earlier, Week 17 comes early.

Will we shrink yet again?
