I thought beforehand if we lost it'd be because the defense was hopeless. But they hung in their and played ok. D essentially gave up two tds.

Loss today pretty much solely on the 100 million dollar QB. Absolutely putrid game by Romo.

Certainly possible, although the Rams are so awful offensively that might be unlikely.

they got lucky with that bad call which negated the Davis catch. plus the missed FG. and the first Dallas td was set up by a pass thrown up for grabs to Harris. Game wasn't as close as it seems.

I don't think the game was "close" but our defense did do better than I expected. We held them to 316 yds. We outrushed them (and they were supposed to be more physical than us on both sides of the ball). We actually forced 4 punts.

Still a lot to clean up, but I was sorta surprised by the amount of penetration we got and the pass rush we had on quite a few plays. Certainly didn't see any of that during preseason and definitely saw none of that last year.

But the offense was a disaster, mainly because of the QB.

On the drive after Murray’s fumble, Romo appeared to check out of running play at the San Francisco 2 and was dropped for a 9-yard sack. The Cowboys settled for a field goal on the drive. On first and goal from the 5 in the second quarter, Romo was intercepted in the end zone, forcing a throw to Jason Witten. It wasn’t until the second half that the Cowboys ran it inside the 5 and they waited until fourth down to give the ball to Murray, who scored on a 2-yard run with 29 seconds left in the third quarter.
